Press Release Summary: Newly installed system to allow office staff to view stage
productions at any time

Press Release Body: London, 10th April 2008: As part of an extensive transformation
of its Stratford-upon-Avon home, the Royal Shakespeare Company has installed an
Exterity network IPTV system. Using the solution, the theatre company will harness
its network to stream an image of the stage to a series of LCD screens mounted in
the company's new office building that is located away from its main theatre. This
will allow office staff to keep in touch with live events during the performances.

As the first stage, Stage Electrics have installed Exterity's IPTV encoders and
decoders as well as IPTV gateways onto a dedicated 'closed' network running between
buildings. This will enable the company to stream live images from the video camera
that overlooks the stage at its main theatre to eight LCD screens placed through out
the Royal Shakespeare's Chapel Lane offices, located 500 yards from the theatre.

"A key part of our ongoing transformation project is to move all administration,
financial and marketing functionalities from our main theatre to a new
self-sufficient office facility," explained Jane Ellis, Communications Manager at
the Royal Shakespeare Company. "It is important that all staff can see and hear
what is happening in the auditorium, so being able to stream live images of
rehearsals and productions will help to create an exciting and dynamic atmosphere
outside of the theatre building."

number of different departments all of who work directly on productions or
supporting that work in some way," commented Colin Farquhar, CEO of Exterity. "With
our network IPTV system, the company can constantly remind staff that they are part
of a creative and innovative organisation."

The system has just been completed and plans are already in place to expand the use
of the Exterity solution by linking the 'closed' network to the main RSC network and
hence to the desktop, which will enable all staff to view theatrical performances
from their computer or laptop.

"Through using its network to stream all performances, the Royal Shakespeare Company
is not only making the most of existing bandwidth but it is also making significant
cost savings as the alternative - coaxial systems - can be more expensive for the
degree of flexibility required," added Jonathan Porter Goff, Project Manager, Stage
Electrics.
